2013 Campaign Luncheon Wrap-up

The United Way Young Leaders Society would like to thank everyone who attended the Campaign Luncheon at Regions on Oct. 16. The event brought together dozens of young professionals who heard from Gordon Martin, of Alabama Power Co., about why it's important to be involved with the United Way of Central Alabama.

UWYLS president Matt Chapman welcomes everyone to the 2013 campaign luncheon.
"I do this for the right reasons but it has some real, tangible benefits." Martin said. Not only does fundraising and volunteering for UWCA help others, but it provides wonderful connections to others in the community -- on a personal and professional level. "It's all about doing well while doing good," Martin said.
Gordon Martin of Alabama Power speaks to the attendees about
the value of being involved with United Way.
