Help Project Corporate Leadership With This Survey!

Hey Fellow Young Leaders of the United Way Members,

I'm in the 2010-2011 class of Project Corporate Leadership and my team's major project is focusing on community involvement.

Our idea is to challenge everyone in the Greater Birmingham metropolitan area to complete 24 hours of volunteer service in a given year. One week with Habitat for Humanity, 2 hours per month helping someone learn to read, coaching a little league team, teaching Sunday School, fund-raising for your favorite organization, anywhere you feel lead to give back. Can you imaging what kind of impact our collective effort would have?!

We're putting together a proposal for how a project like this can be rolled out—by companies, communities, churches, etc.—and we need some feedback from people in the community on their experiences with volunteering and where they see opportunities for improvement. This is where I need your help. Please take a few minutes to look over the attached flyer that summarizes our project idea. Then fill out a short survey (4 questions) at the following link: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/K8HGLV5

The survey is anonymous—we’re not tracking who is responding, just what the responses are. I promise it will only take a minute and you will be helping me out tremendously! Also, feel free to pass this along to your friends and family. The more responses the better!

Let me know if you have any questions about it.

Thanks so much!

Nick Maroules
